I can't believe it's already October! September was a long, extremely busy month, but I also feel like I completely missed it somehow. I love the start of this time of year, so I'm a little bummed that September was such a blur, but I'm still happy it's October. Grad school has been keeping me so busy and as much as I love the work, it's still a little overwhelming right now trying to get back into the swing of things.
In book related news, Darkdawn finally came out in September and I somehow managed to love it even more than I could have ever expected. The Nevernight trilogy will forever be one of my favorites series of all time (and I'm so enormously grateful for past me for ordering Nevernight from Goldsboro yers ago and now being able to own all three--they are so, so precious to me now!). Outside of Darkdawn my September was honestly a bit slumpy for some reason--I wanted to read, but I just couldn't seem to figure out what I wanted to read. I think I'm finally getting over that hump, but it was extremely frustrating during. Was anyone else having slump-related problems with books in September!?
In personal news, nothing new has really happened! My sister is due to have her baby later this month, but knowing that it could technically happen at any time is so nerve-wracking--it's still so surreal that my sister is having a baby at all? It feels like just yesterday we were both just kids at home! My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary at the end of September as well, so there's that! Anyway, that's about all of the news I have to share--how was your September? Anything exciting happen?
And for reading related news...How was your reading month? Did you read any great books? Have you read any of the books I read? Let me know!

I don't know what happened with this one, but I just could not get into it. I think I just read it at the wrong and I absolutely plan to go back and try to finish it before the end of the year!
