I loved Empire of Sand so much and have been anxiously awaiting this sequel ever since I finished the first book last year. Suri's writing is beautiful and captivating and I can't wait to see what else is in store for this world.

I love learning about the history of everyday items and fabric in particular is of interest to me so this sounds really interesting! I feel like the changes in fabric and its uses/etc. have had such a fascinating effect upon the world (and the world has had quite an effect upon fabric itself) and I'm looking forward to when I can pick this one up to learn a bit more about it.
