22nd November – A cover that is Futuristic
I couldn't find any good book covers that screamed 'futuristic' to me that also had a lot of cover editions, so I've basically just decided to collect a bunch of books I've read (and lots of 2019 releases!) that are set in the future or a futuristic version of our world to compare cover styles!

My choice(s):
This was super hard to decide, but in the end I've settled on a tie between these two bad boys. If we're being honest, I like a lot of these covers (and I'm also drawn to The Book of Strange New Things' cover alot), but I love the simplicity of these two. They're dark and full of color schemes I love while also showcasing the idea of 'space' and 'future' really well.

What a great collection! I like the cover of One Way - I ended up DNFing the book, but I love the cover!

DeleteThese are all so varied! I've always loved the cover of One Way and also The Luminous Dead. But it's hard to pick a favorite😁
ReplyDeleteSo hard to pick! I love both of those as well--The Luminous Dead's drew me to it immediately when I first saw it.
DeleteI think I like the covers of 84K and Salvaged best. Unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan of science fiction/futuristic literature. It's interesting, but often it's very science-y (surprise, surprise) and it's stressful for me to read. Space makes me stressed. So I usually stick with fantasy! :)
