Top Ten Tuesday: Authors I've Read the Most Books By (Freebie!)

This week's topic is:  (Freebie) Authors I've Read the Most Books By

For this week's Freebie topic, I decided to catch up on a topic that I missed a couple weeks ago--authors I've read the most books by! This was tricky to figure out and I'm sure I could've missed something obvious, but this is what I able to deduce from Goodreads! I also wasn't sure if I should include the large series I read as a kid (such as Heartland by Lauren Brooke, Phantom Stallion by Terri Farley, Nancy Drew, Warriors by Erin Hunter, etc...), then there's the question of whether I include each volume of Sandman as one individual book (which would be 13 alone!), then the fact that I have read exactly five books from a lot of authors? It must be magic author number or something because so many were exactly five books read by an author, so these are 5+ books read by an author!
Regardless, here's a sampling of some of my most-read authors!

Haruki Murakami: 13

  2. J.K. Rowling probably should have made my list, because I also read The Casual Vacancy in addition to the Harry Potter books. I really want to read more from Christina Henry!

    1. I almost forgot about The Casual Vacancy when I was writing this, it is hard to remember for some reason, haha. I also can't recommend Christina Henry enough!

  3. I get what you mean about books you read in childhood, even though I haven't read any Lauren Brooke books in years, she's technically my most read author because I read all of the Heartland books (plus special editions) and the Chestnut Hill books as well.

    1. I loved the Heartland books so much! I don't think I ever read the Chestnut Hill books, but now looking them up I wish I had--young me would've loved them! She's probably one of my higher read authors, too.

    1. I cheated a little bit because I've only read the beginning, but I know I'm going to read it through so I figured I might as well include it! It always surprises me how many Michel Faber has as well, although many are short story collections. I wish he were still writing!

    1. Definitely! I think her books can be hit or miss for some people, but I really think her series improve with each book, and they are such entertaining stories.

  9. I only read 2 of Murakami's books and I find them kind of twisty and weird.

I really like how some authors book covers matches even when they're not part of a series, like Murakami's books.

My TTT is here - some thoughts on romance books.

    Have a lovely day.

  11. I've never read Neil Gaiman, which seems so weird! I have read a few McGuire/ Grant books though. I was actually surprised how many of her books I've read.

I do need to read more Christina Henry since I liked the Girl in Red.

  12. I know my most-read authors are Stephen King and Margaret Atwood. I also tend to read 5-ish books by an author and then quit. I noticed that when I did this post topic a few weeks ago. I want to read more Michel Faber. I loved The Book of Strange New Things.

Aj @ Read All The Things!
