The Friday Face-Off: Grey

 Friday Face Off New

Welcome to The Friday Face-Off, a weekly meme at Books by Proxy. Join us every Friday as we pit cover against cover, and publisher against publisher, to find the best artwork in our literary universe.  You can find a list of upcoming topics at Lynn's Books.

This week's topic is:
Grey

I couldn't think of very many covers that fit this week's topic (kiss), so I decided to catch up with last week's topic–a grey cover! Grey seems to be a popular cover color, so I decided to feature a variety of different books rather than just one. And from looking at all of these covers, it become readily apparent that there really are a ton of different shades of grey out there! Some of these looked super grey, but when placed next to another book they suddenly don't look as grey, like The Bone Shard Daughter near something like The Turn of the Key. Let's have a look!

Horseman: A Tale of Sleepy HollowApocryphaDead Mountain: The Untold True Story of the Dyatlov Pass Incident

My choice(s):
I really like all of these! But.. I have to say that I will always absolutely love the cover for The Grand Dark by Richard Kadrey. It's just so dramatic and atmospheric to me, I love it!

What cover(s) do you like the most?
