May has been an odd month. Stressful at times, but nice at others. Somehow today is June and my birthday is tomorrow and I just can't fathom how another year has gone by. Life is crazy, isn't it?
In bookish news, I had a pretty decent reading month. I read some longer books this month that took up more time than usual, and I read a good handful of five-star books. In fact, almost all of the books I read this month were four stars or more I think, with only about two or three exceptions. I've also started in on reading some TBRindr self-published books and so far they have been amazing (Kingshold was one of them and I cannot recommend it enough!). I know a lot of bloggers can be skeptical of self-published novels (and believe me, I understand why), but I've been reading such incredible ones lately that I'm really looking forward to reading more as well.
As always, everything that I did over the past month on the blog is posted below. How was your month? Did you read any great books? Bad books? Be sure to let me know!
As I've mentioned before, I'm also a Book Depository Affiliate and an Amazon affiliate! If you'd like to know more about that, I included some info about in this post. And if you'd like to purchase a book through my affiliate link, just follow this link for Book Depository or click on the Amazon banner on the right hand side of this page! It is so, so appreciated in ways you cannot imagine (okay maybe you can, but you get my meaning)!

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday!! Hope it's awesome. And I didn't know you were a Book Depository affiliate- I just ordered a book from them! Next time I'll try to remember to order through your link!!
ReplyDeleteI want to read JV Jones, and 84K is on my list too. Love the cover of Starless, and The Last Cruise too!
Thank you! And I appreciate that, thanks! I can't recommend JV Jones enough, and 84K is pretty interesting as well.
DeleteWow you got some great looking books, I want to read LifeLik3, that looks really good, and also Into the Drowning Deep. I hope June is good for you as well!!

Into the Drowning Deep is so good! Thanks, I hope it's awesome for you also!
DeleteI'm so impressed with the amount of books you read and reviewed, I had a terrible month trying to find time to read much at all. I'm hoping June will be better! I'm in the middle of 84K and it's very slow going. Based on your rating it's probably not going to pick up much? 😊
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that! It's so frustrating when life gets in the way of reading plans. 84K was definitely a slow one for me as well, and I'm super mixed on it! It's my next review, so I tried to explore my thoughts more, but it's definitely a unique one! I hope it picks up for you, though!
DeleteWhat a great reading and blogging month for you! I really loved FURYBORN too and am looking forward to SPINNING SILVER. I hope you have a great June!
ReplyDeleteI was so pleasantly surprised by Furyborn, glad to see you loved it also! Thanks, you too!
DeleteHappy birthday!!!
ReplyDeleteYou read a lot of books this month! Yay! I'm glad most of them were 4 stars or more, definitely helps keep you out of a reading slump!
Thanks! And it totally does! I hate when I get stuck on mediocre books for a while, so this is definitely a welcome thing. Hope you have a great month!
DeleteHappy Birthday! Those years just flow 🙄 wish it slowed down a bit 😂
ReplyDeleteI met Jay Kristoff last week, will be checking out your review.
Angelica @ Paperback Princess
Thanks! I know, I feel the same way sometimes.
DeleteThat's so awesome! I've been wanting to meet him for ages, but haven't had the chance--I hope you had an amazing time!
Hi, belated Happy Birthday, Jordan! :D It's nice to know that you had a pretty good reading month. I'll go check out some of your reviews. I've been quite skeptical about LIFE L1K3... it's been getting mixed reviews since it came out. Also, Into the Drowning Deep is on my tbr so I'll go check your review out :)
ReplyDeleteczai @ the Blacksheep Reader
Thank you! LIFEL1K3 was definitely a disappointment for me, but so many other people loved it that I keep recommending people check it out anyway. Into the Drowning Deep was amazing! Thanks for checking them out!
DeleteWow, you did have a good month of reading! Happy belated birthday. I hope it was a good one :)
