Top Ten Tuesday: Exciting 2019 Releases (That I Haven't Talked About Yet!)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly book blog meme now hosted by Jana over at The Artsy Reader Girl!

This week's topic is: Most Anticipated 2019 Releases

I've already shared a lot of upcoming releases I'm looking forward to this  year, but a lot of the ones I've featured seem to be books (particularly fantasy) that I've seen mentioned by others many times as well, so I thought I'd feature some 2019 releases that I haven't talked much about already and/or I haven't seen other people talk about a lot yet, either! I am really looking forward to some of these, though I don't know when I'll have a chance to actually obtain a copy and read them--let's hope my library has copies! Are you excited for any of the following books?.

Black Leopard, Red Wolf (The Dark Star Trilogy #1)Black Leopard, Red Wolf by Marlon James
Publication Date: February 5th, 2019
About: "Tracker is known far and wide for his skills as a hunter: "He has a nose," people say. Engaged to track down a mysterious boy who disappeared three years earlier, Tracker breaks his own rule of always working alone when he finds himself part of a group that comes together to search for the boy. The band is a hodgepodge, full of unusual characters with secrets of their own, including a shape-shifting man-animal known as Leopard.

As Tracker follows the boy's scent--from one ancient city to another; into dense forests and across deep rivers--he and the band are set upon by creatures intent on destroying them. As he struggles to survive, Tracker starts to wonder: Who, really, is this boy? Why has he been missing for so long? Why do so many people want to keep Tracker from finding him? And perhaps the most important questions of all: Who is telling the truth, and who is lying? More"

This chapel, a stained glass folly set on the moors of Shropshire, was built by de Bonne sixteen years earlier to house the remains of his beloved wife and muse, Ada. Since then, the chapel has been locked and abandoned, a pilgrimage site for the rabid fans of de Bonne's last book, The Lost History of Dreams.

However, Ada's grief-stricken niece refuses to open the glass chapel for Robert unless he agrees to her bargain: before he can lay Hugh to rest, Robert must record Isabelle's story of Ada and Hugh's ill-fated marriage over the course of five nights...More"
