This week's topic is:
Chills
There are so many books that could work for the topic of chills, but I immediately thought of The Silent Companions by Laura Purcell because it is definitely a chilling and haunting tale. There wasn't an overabundance of options for covers, but there was enough of a variety for it to still be fun to explore and share! Some are pretty much the same, but have slight variations in color and/or tone (or at least in the photos) that I thought was interesting. Let's have a look!
2017 UK Hardcover | 2018 US Paperback | 2018 UK Paperback
2018 Spanish | 2021 German /2019 Croatian | 2020 Portuguese
2017 Spanish Kindle | 2021 Czech
My choice(s):
I love the original UK hardcover and it's the edition that I have, but I also think the Spanish edition is so fun and intriguing. It feels very dark and mysterious, though it does give me a slightly different vibe than what this book actually is. Still, I love it! The UK paperback/German/Croatian was also a close tie!
What cover(s) do you like the most?
The US cover is SO creepy! I think I would choose any of these over that!
ReplyDeleteGreat choice, this is such a creepy book. My favorite is the US paperback, with those doll/figures, it creeps me out every time I see it!
