I meant to have part one of my 'Best Books of 2023' up today, but things happened and I didn't get it quite finished in time, so it'll be up tomorrow instead! In the. meantime, I figured I'd jump into this week's Friday Face-Off to share a couple cover variants from the first book I finished in 2024, Sparrow by James Hynes! I've been wanting to read this book since I first saw it announced last year and I had a feeling I would love it... and now I know that I finally got around to reading it, I can confirm that I absolutely loved it. There are three different covers for it, so let's have a look!

I think these are all great covers. I love the commitment to the mosaic style across all three of them. I really like the simplicity of the overall US design, but I also love the beautiful UK edition. I think these are all great covers for this book! Which one(s) do you like best?
I love the mosaic look, too! The German one probably stands out to me the most!
