May has been an odd month. Stressful at times, but nice at others. Somehow today is June and my birthday is tomorrow and I just can't fathom how another year has gone by. Life is crazy, isn't it?
In bookish news, I had a pretty decent reading month. I read some longer books this month that took up more time than usual, and I read a good handful of five-star books. In fact, almost all of the books I read this month were four stars or more I think, with only about two or three exceptions. I've also started in on reading some TBRindr self-published books and so far they have been amazing (Kingshold was one of them and I cannot recommend it enough!). I know a lot of bloggers can be skeptical of self-published novels (and believe me, I understand why), but I've been reading such incredible ones lately that I'm really looking forward to reading more as well.
As always, everything that I did over the past month on the blog is posted below. How was your month? Did you read any great books? Bad books? Be sure to let me know!
As I've mentioned before, I'm also a Book Depository Affiliate and an Amazon affiliate! If you'd like to know more about that, I included some info about in this post. And if you'd like to purchase a book through my affiliate link, just follow this link for Book Depository or click on the Amazon banner on the right hand side of this page! It is so, so appreciated in ways you cannot imagine (okay maybe you can, but you get my meaning)!
