The Friday Face-Off: Vampire

          Friday Face Off New

Welcome to The Friday Face-Off, a weekly meme at Books by Proxy. Join us every Friday as we pit cover against cover, and publisher against publisher, to find the best artwork in our literary universe.  You can find a list of upcoming topics at Lynn's Books.

This week's topic is:
Vampire

 I didn't actually have as many vampire books to choose from as I might have expected because I don't tend to really read that many vampire books, but fortunately I did immediately think of Elizabeth Kostova's The Historian! This was a book that I read and absolutely loved as a kid because it felt so mysterious and complex and was just all-around a fascinating book for me.

2005 US Hardcover | 2005 Spanish | 2009 US Paperback

2008 Portuguese | 2005 Paperback | 2005 Italian

2006 Finnish | 2006 Swedish | Persian

2005 Portuguese | 2009 Italian | 2006 Hebrew

2011 Dutch | 2006 Estonian | 2006 Japanese

My choice(s):
I'm probably most drawn to the US Hardcover since it's the edition I own and read, but I also really like the designs for  the Spanish edition, Swedish edition, and Persian editions!

What cover(s) do you like the most?
