Month in Review: October 2018

It's crazy that November is already here, but October actually felt like a semi-average length. The last half went quickly, but the beginning seemed to go at a--dare I say--normal speed? Regardless,  it was a much more productive month than I anticipated. I've still been floundering in a really weird reading slump where I'm managing to read books, but I just have no idea what I ever want to read, I just pick up what's next. I've been jumping around so many genres lately that I think my mind is just unsure what it wants next. But I have a lot of books I want to get too like Killing Commendatore, Kingdom of Ash, Muse of Nightmares, etc., so hopefully I can jump on those this month. We'll see what November brings! How was your October!?

I also finally took the deep dive and decided to try out this whole 'Instagram' thing. I've been putting it off because 1) I don't take a lot of pictures, especially cool artsy photos, and 2) my old phone was an iPhone 4S that I hadn't updated in ages so I couldn't get that app (I know, don't judge me). But I finally upgraded to an iPhone SE (again, don't judge me) and I have it now, so let's give a shot, why don't we? My handle is @foreverlostinlit, so feel free to check it out! Just keep in mind that you aren't going to be getting the same super high quality #bookstagram photos that other bloggers have. My talents are lacking. I've accepted it.

As I've mentioned before, I'm also a Book Depository Affiliate and an Amazon affiliate! If you'd like to know more about that, I included some info about in this post. And if you'd like to purchase a book through my affiliate link, just follow this link for Book Depository or click on the Amazon banner on the right hand side of this page! It is so, so appreciated in ways you cannot imagine (okay maybe you can, but you get my meaning)!

  1. Ha, don't feel so bad, I only just got a smartphone a couple months ago! So you're ahead of me! Instagram is fun, I love taking pictures, of books and everything else, even if they aren't as good as some of the big bookstagram accounts!

    1. Haha, I'm glad I'm not alone! I am so bad at keeping up with new technology, I like to keep things simple. ANd it has been fun! I'm most enjoying looking at everyone else's posts. ;)

    1. It was a huge disappointment. I'm tempted to give it another shot one day, but then I remember what a drudge it was an I think... maybe not. I'd definitely prioritize other books.

    1. I've been meaning to check out Final Girls also, though I've heard similar that it doesn't quite live up to TLTIL. I'm excited to see also!
